Haven’t used in a hunt yet but breaking them in doing projects. They are really comfortable and sole feels solid so far. No pinching or scrunching up. Choose a size up. I am a in between shoe size typically 11-11.5 depending on the brand. I picked the 12 and they are a perfect fit. I’m a skinny guy so don’t know what it’s like for the bulky feet people. Gotta see how they work in the field nowThese boots are a perfect fit and my feet are a tough size (higher arch and EE) but these fit and feel perfect.I've worn the boots twice, total of maybe 5 miles. The boots fit fine and are comfortable enough. The problem is, my right boot has a weird shifting in the sole and a popping sound anytime I step. It's extremely annoying and trying to sneak into the woods to hunt is problematic due to the noise from the boot.Great boot really good ankle support and comfort. They are not even remotely water resistant a heavy morning due in a short walk and your feet will be wet and at the end of the day thats all that matter. Do betterI had a pair of the previous version of this boot. They were very light and felt broken in the first time i wore them. I walked 12 miles the first time I wore them and they were the most comfortable boots I ever wore.These new version boots however are not comfortable no matter how much I wear them but are very waterproof and light. They do provide great traction on rocky and soggy woodland surfaces. I still wear them primarily because of the lightness, waterproofing and traction though.The fit is tight but after the break in period they fit perfect. Returning the item.This boot felt amazing when I initially put them on, conformed to my feet like I was putting socks on, light weight which is great for long hikes or hunting in rough terrain, laces stay laced up. I gave it a 4 star cause the first 2 times I walked with these boots I developed hot spots on my inner heels, different socks and tying the laces a bit looser made a big difference but my feet slide back and forth a bit ascending and descending steep hills. traction is great in all directions, I haven't had to find out how waterproof they are yet but I'm sure they will be fine for what they were designed for, if one is standing in water for long periods of time then a rubber boot is called for.Great boots but run a little small. I have another pair of I.S. 9’’ in size 9, perfect fit. In these 8’’, I would probably need 9.5. I will use them soon on a partridge hunt, so lots of walking, I hope I will be fine as I don’t want to return them as no size 9.5 are availableExcellent fit and feelComfy to wear. But not at all waterproof. I get wet feet everydayThis product is tighter than my other brand boots
